| Now your passengers can enter and leave your elevator with greater
safety and convenience. MicroLight prevents the premature closing of the doors so
passengers can use the elevator with complete assurance that the doors will not close as
they enter. MicroLight provides a series of forty invisible infrared
light beams from door sill to a height of six feet. This gives you a curtain of protection
across the elevator opening. A microprocessor constantly scans each infrared receptor to
determine its status. If even one of the beams is interrupted, the door will not close or
will reopen immediately of already closing. The beams are located every 1.8 inches so even
small objects, like a child's hand, will cause the doors to stop and reopen. Since
microlight uses solid state components and has no moving parts, it is much more reliable
than traditional systems.
MicorLight does away with the mechanical safety edge which requires contact to
stop the door, and the traditional photo-electric eye which provides protection with only
two beams. MicroLight will give passengers peace of mind about your elevators on new
installations or in existing buildings. |
