LEED® Building

With a LEED Accredited Professional on staff, our Team can assist you in maximizing LEED Credit potential for elevator systems.

The following table illustrates areas where we can help you achieve LEED Accreditation

LEED® Stanley Elevator can help you achieve LEED Credits.

LEED Accreditation
CATEGORYCREDITDESCRIPTIONINTENT WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU
Energy & AtmospherePrerequisite 1 RequiredFundamental Commissioning of the Building Energy SystemsVerify and ensure that fundamental building elements and systems are designed, installed and calibrated to operate as intended.Stanley’s services and the products we can provide will help you meet commissioning requirements.
Prerequisite 2 RequiredMinimum Energy PerformanceEstablish the minimum level of energy efficiency for the base building and system. We constantly strive to provide products and service with the highest level of energy-efficient performance. We will work with you to analyze energy efficiency for your elevators.
Credit 1 1-10 PointsOptimize Energy PerformanceAchieve increasing levels of energy performance above baseline minimums established in ASHRAE 90.1-2004 to reduce environmental impacts associated with excessive energy use.Our Sales Department is able to help you calculate how the elevator contributes to the whole building energy savings as a non-regulated system.
Materials & ResourcesCredit 2 1-2 PointsConstruction Waste ManagementDivert construction/demolition debris from incinerators and landfillsWe can comply with any Waste Management Plan established on a project. We use suppliers that package equipment efficiently to minimize waste.
Credit 3Materials ReuseReuse building materials and products to reduce demand for new materialElevators are specifically excluded from this credit.
Credit 4 1-2 PointsRecycled ContentIncrease demand for products that contain recycled content, thus reducing impacts from extracting new materials.Elevators are specifically excluded from this credit, but we install equipment that is 95% recyclable.
Credit 7 1-2 PointsCertified WoodEncourage environmentally responsible forest management through the use of FSC-certified wood.We can offer wood paneling for the elevator cab or base platform that is made from FSC-certified wood.
Indoor Environmental Quality Prerequisite RequiredMinimum IAQ PerformanceEstablish minimum indoor air quality performance to enhance indoor air quality in buildings, thus contributing to the comfort and well-being of installers and occupants. We avoid using volatile organic compounds (VOC) that can negatively impact indoor air quality.
Credit 3 1 pointConstruction IAQ Management Plan- During ConstructionReduce indoor air quality problems resulting from the construction/ renovation processWe can comply and help implement any Indoor Air Quality plans established on a project.
Credit 4 1-4 PointsIndoor Chemical and Pollutant Source ControlReduce the quantity of indoor air contaminants that are odorous, irritating and/or harmful to the comfort and well-being of installers and occupants. We can use suppliers that provide low-level VOC adhesives and sealants, paints and coatings, carpet systems, and composite wood and agri-fiber products.
Innovation & Design ProcessCredit 2 1 PointLEED Accredited ProfessionalTo support and encourage the design integration required by a LEED-NC green building project and to streamline the application and certification process. We have a LEED Accredited Professional on staff and plan to have more team members accredited in the near future. Our LEED Accredited Professional is always available and willing to “support and encourage the design integration” as called for by this credit.
