energy-atmosphere Prerequisite 1
Fundamental Commissioning of the Building Energy Systems Verify and ensure that fundamental building elements and systems are designed, installed and calibrated to operate as intended. Stanley’s services and the products we can provide will help you meet commissioning requirements.
Prerequisite 2
Minimum Energy Performance Establish the minimum level of energy efficiency for the base building and system. We constantly strive to provide products and service with the highest level of energy-efficient performance. We will work with you to analyze energy efficiency for your elevators.
Credit 1
1-10 Points
Optimize Energy Performance Achieve increasing levels of energy performance above baseline minimums established in ASHRAE 90.1-2004 to reduce environmental impacts associated with excessive energy use. Our Sales Department is able to help you calculate how the elevator contributes to the whole building energy savings as a non-regulated system.
materials-resources Credit 2
1-2 Points
Construction Waste Management Divert construction/demolition debris from incinerators and landfills We can comply with any Waste Management Plan established on a project. We use suppliers that package equipment efficiently to minimize waste.
Credit 3 Materials Reuse Reuse building materials and products to reduce demand for new material Elevators are specifically excluded from this credit.

1-2 Points
Recycled Content Increase demand for products that contain recycled content, thus reducing impacts from extracting new materials. Elevators are specifically excluded from this credit, but we install equipment that is 95% recyclable.
Credit 7
1-2 Points
Certified Wood Encourage environmentally responsible forest management through the use of FSC-certified wood. We can offer wood paneling for the elevator cab or base platform that is made from FSC-certified wood.
indoor-environmental-quality Prerequisite
Minimum IAQ Performance Establish minimum indoor air quality performance to enhance indoor air quality in buildings, thus contributing to the comfort and well-being of installers and occupants. We avoid using volatile organic compounds (VOC) that can negatively impact indoor air quality.

Construction IAQ Management Plan- During Construction Reduce indoor air quality problems resulting from the construction/ renovation process We can comply and help implement any Indoor Air Quality plans established on a project.
Credit 4
1-4 Points
Indoor Chemical and Pollutant Source Control Reduce the quantity of indoor air contaminants that are odorous, irritating and/or harmful to the comfort and well-being of installers and occupants. We can use suppliers that provide low-level VOC adhesives and sealants, paints and coatings, carpet systems, and composite wood and agri-fiber products.
innovation-design-process Credit 2

LEED Accredited Professional To support and encourage the design integration required by a LEED-NC green building project and to streamline the application and certification process. We have a LEED Accredited Professional on staff and plan to have more team members accredited in the near future. Our LEED Accredited Professional is always available and willing to “support and encourage the design integration” as called for by this credit.
